Customer Review: great bag!
I used this for a 2 week trip around europe in the summer. It was very useful, the bags detach and hence allow you to carry on on the plane. wished there were more side pockets, especially on the smaller bag.
It served its purpose well for me though, but might be harder if traveling around europe in the winter as you might have to pack more.
Customer Review: Solid backpack
I bought this for a month-long trip in the US and overseas. Couple of tips:
- It’s good for a laptop as the larger part has straps to hold an item shaped like a laptop.
- On domestic flights, I had to separate the two “halves” of the backpack as together the entire
bag would not fit in the overhead bin or under the seat.
- On international flights, with the larger bins, the entire bag fit comfortably overhead.
- There’s a bit too many straps on the outside for my liking. I think you could cut a couple off safely and not have it affect the utility of the bag.
- The two compartments attach with a zipper. Fairly easy to use, although I wonder if over time the zipper will give way.
- The two compartments is a nice touch, though. I was able to use the smaller one for day trips to the beach, etc.
Overall a sturdy bag that is good for travel that could use a little streamlining. I recommend it if you can pick it up on sale.
